6 reasons to stay in a serviced apartment instead of a hotel

serviced apartment including large bed, kitchen, living room, sofa, tv, dining table, carpeted floors and large window
One of our 1 bed apartments on Huntingdon Street

Whether you are looking for a place to stay for work or leisure, it’s always good to see all of your options. Your accommodation can make or break your holiday/travel experience. You don’t need that stress while you are away, so how do serviced accommodations combat this? Why do people go for serviced apartments over hotels? Here are the top reasons for using a serviced apartment for your next trip.

1. Safe and secure (Covid friendly!)

It’s no secret that the spread of Covid is rampant. One great thing about serviced apartments is that you have your own space, which lessens the chance of you mixing and spreading germs with strangers. Together, we can stop the spread. When you are away from home, what better way is there than to have access to your own rooms, kitchens and bathrooms?

2. More space!

Did you know serviced apartments are 2x more spacious than your average hotel room? Staying in a serviced apartment gives you the space to work, cook, relax and sleep. Guests staying at Lace Market Apartments can enjoy quality rooms with new furnishings including their very own ensuite bedrooms, large lounges, fully-equipped kitchens and TV’s. Perfect for travelling with a family or even solo!

For those travelling for business, by staying in a serviced apartment, they can expect to have a secure, spacious base where they can inhabit and work.

3. Central locations - always near important spots

No need for long travels when you are staying in a serviced apartment. Many if not all serviced apartments are within walking distance of public spots and grocery stores. In hotels, often times you may have to take a couple of minutes drive in order to find this! Save petrol by staying close to the city.

4. Personalised experience

Staying in a serviced apartment means you can decide how you want to spend your stay, not to mention it is very budget friendly! In hotels, you may have to pay extra fees for the food they serve, whereas in your own serviced apartment, you can save some money and cook in your very own kitchen! Bring ingredients from home or pop down to the nearest shop for some grocery shopping. The choice is yours!

5. Feel at home

The large space and access to your own amenities is perfect for if you want to feel at home. You get all the perks of being away from home but with the added privacy of your own space! Comfortable and cosy furnishings are provided in your apartments, bringing in that homely feeling.

6. Housekeeping service

Unlike a hotel, you won’t have housekeeping coming in all the time, potentially bothering your stay. Some hotels even need you to be staying for a certain period of time for you to have access to these housekeeping services! With a serviced apartment, you can request when you would like a clean and staff will come over to clean and change your linen and towels. This way, you are able to have the comfort of residing in a ‘home away from home’ but have the added bonus of fantastic housekeeping services without hassle.

For long-stay guests staying at Lace Market Apartments, they will be provided free mid-stay cleans. This includes vacuuming throughout your apartment, clean fresh towels and your bed made with clean freshly pressed bed linen.

Bonus!

Serviced apartments often offer guests welcome packs. Lace Market Apartment offers complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate available for all guests as standard.

So, what do you think? Are you in need of a place to stay while you visit Nottingham? Check out our serviced apartments!

Empty Streets of Nottingham

Our once bustling city centre and high streets are shown nearly deserted amid the lockdown of 2020

Ever wondered what Nottingham City Centre looked like last year? Let's take a stroll back in time...

This time last year, we were going through our national lockdown. During this time, Andy had a little stroll down the barren streets of Nottingham. What was usually so busy, was then empty. Come view the hauntingly fascinating sights through our photos.

Lace Market Apartments were still open during this time

Supporting essential workers by providing clean and fresh rooms for their stay while they continue to provide their much needed services in Nottingham.
